Writing Prompts & Journaling

I've planned a Writing Vacation today and I thought I would share some writing prompts I found online in case you want to jumpstart your own Writing or Journaling Vacation.

From A Writer's Workbook:
Describe the following in a short a paragraph.
1. a circle
2. a spiral staircase
3. the color red
4. the smell of a barbecue

5. seedless grapes
6. kissing
7. wet tears on your face
8. the grunt of a pig
9. silk
10. iron

From One Minute Writer:
When (if ever) do you really "let go"?

And this is a really good one for you creative writers out there.
From Writers Digest:
You had planned to attend a friend’s birthday party and plugged her address into your GPS system, but the system guided you to somewhere else. Oddly enough, there was a man waiting...

There's also an endless supply of writing prompts from PROMPT GENERATOR.

Happy Writing!

  2. Great minds! Thanks. I'm glad my post helped out someone, especially my Canadian twin.

I didn't know you are a teacher. Where do you teach?
